About this app

Track the electricity market with the current spot price and today's hour-by-hour curve for a chosen price area, sourced from Energinet. Select the area (DK1, DK2, SE3, SE4 or NO2) the currency (DKK or EUR) and a theme; the figures update automatically through the day. It helps offices, workshops and energy-aware Nordic businesses time their usage to cheaper hours.

Why teams choose this app

  • The team sees when power is expensive without opening a portal
  • Serbia is covered alongside the main European markets
  • No account and no key. Pick the area and it runs

What it does

The hourly curve

Beside the current price sits the shape of the whole day, so it is obvious whether the cheap hour is still coming or already gone.

Your market area

The price is tied to the area you pick, because markets differ and another country’s price says nothing about your plant.

That area’s clock

Hours are computed in the area’s own timezone, so the curve lines up with the hours you schedule work against.

Where it fits

A production plant

The shift sees when power is cheapest and moves energy-hungry work into those hours.

An energy company

Price and curve on an office screen, beside the other indicators.

Cold storage or drying

Where consumption can move by the hour, the price on the wall is the reason to move it.

How to set it up

01

Pick the market area

Serbia or one of the European markets you follow.

02

Check it reads

Look at whether the curve is legible from where people actually stand.

03

Choose a theme and publish

Match the look to the rest of the screen, then publish.

Requirements and limitations

Account

Network
A connection is needed to fetch new prices.
Refresh
Refreshed every thirty minutes.
Offline behavior
The last fetched prices stay on screen until the connection returns.
Limitations
It shows the wholesale day-ahead price in euros. That is not the price on your electricity bill, which also carries network charges, taxes and a supplier margin.
