Data deletion

This page explains how to delete data SignageWall holds about you, including anything obtained from a connected Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google or Microsoft account.

1. Disconnecting a connected account

Each app instance on your screens connects to exactly one account. Open the app instance in the SignageWall dashboard and choose Disconnect.

This immediately deletes the access token we stored for that account and the connection record itself. The app stops fetching from your account at once.

2. Removing SignageWall from Facebook

You can also do it from Facebook's side: go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and Websites, and remove SignageWall.

Facebook notifies us when you do, and we delete the stored access tokens and disconnect every screen app that was using that account — in every organization that connected it. You do not need to contact us as well.

3. What we hold from a connected account

For a connected account we store an encrypted access token, the account's display name so you can see which account is connected, the permissions you granted, and the account identifier the provider gives us. We also cache the recent posts or events the app displays so your screens keep working between refreshes.

We never receive or store your password, and we never post on your behalf.

4. Deleting your account or organization

To remove everything, not just one connection: delete your Account or an Organization from Settings in the dashboard. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period during which access is disabled and after which we permanently delete or anonymize the associated data, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting an Organization removes its screens, devices, playlists, app instances, connected accounts and media.

5. Requesting deletion by email

If you cannot reach the dashboard, write to office@signagewall.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. We will confirm and respond within the periods the law requires.
