“Stuck image” is often used for two different problems. OLED burn-in is permanent unevenness caused by pixels wearing differently. Only part of a signage scene may be static: a corner logo, ticker at one height, clock, navigation rail or black border. Photographs may change while that element remains on the same pixels. Do not disable protection merely because a subtle movement looks unusual. If a display has a defined duty cycle or requires rest, that is a hardware condition the CMS cannot change.
