Google Slides from your Drive, updated the moment you edit
Connect a Google account, pick a deck from Drive, and it loops on the screens. Edit it and the screens move to the new version.
About this app
Run a private Google Slides presentation as a self-advancing slideshow, without publishing it to the web. Sign in to your Google account, choose the deck from your Drive, and set how long each slide stays up and how many slides to include. Edit the deck and the screens pick up the new version within seconds, and because the slides are stored rather than streamed they keep playing even if the screen loses its connection: well suited to internal updates, onboarding and team comms in offices and staff areas.
Why teams choose this app
- The deck stays private, nothing has to be published to the web
- An edit in Drive reaches the screen at once, not at the next check
- Slides are stored on the device, so the display survives an outage
What it does
Edits arrive on their own
Drive reports that the deck changed, the slides are exported again and the screens move to the new version with nobody clicking anything.
Slides live on the device
Exported images are kept by us and downloaded to the player instead of being pulled from Google each time. That is why the display keeps running when the link drops.
A cap on slides
Set how many of the leading slides go to the screen, so a long deck need not be split into a separate file.
Where it fits
A weekly team review
The deck the team already fills in before the meeting stays on the screen until the next one.
Schools and universities
Notices prepared in Slides go to the corridor screens with no export to PDF.
Welcoming visitors
A slide with the visitor’s name is edited in Drive in the morning and is on the lobby screen immediately.
How to set it up

Sign in once. We ask for permission to read files, not to change them.

Set the pace and publish
Decide how long a slide holds and how many slides are shown.

- Account
- A Google account with access to the deck, connected once. Only read permission is requested.
- Data source
- Slides are exported as images from the chosen Google Slides presentation.
- Network
- A connection is needed to download new slides after an edit.
- Refresh
- A change in Drive triggers an immediate re-export; as a fallback it is also checked every fifteen minutes.
