Manufacturing KPI and information displays

A screen on a production floor should not invent a new data source. Its job is to make a small number of already defined metrics or messages visible where work happens. SignageWall can display one KPI or a table from Google Sheets, a Power BI report shared with Publish to web, and a public web page that permits iframe embedding. Text, Clock and Alert cover an editorial message, time and a high-contrast visual format for a warning.

There is no built-in MES, ERP, SCADA, OEE or warehouse integration. If an operational system can produce a workbook or public web view, that output may become a source for an existing app, but SignageWall does not verify its accuracy, control a line or write data back. A Power BI Publish to web link is publicly accessible and is therefore unsuitable for confidential production or customer information. A web page depends on the network and may reject iframe display.

For Google Sheets and other data-backed apps, the last synchronised payload can remain in the player snapshot. That supports display continuity, but an old figure can lead to a bad decision. Every time-sensitive board should therefore include its source time or last-processing time in the design itself. Alert does not provide platform-wide takeover: it plays as a content item already assigned to that screen. Evacuation, line-stop and other safety-critical events must continue to rely on certified systems and established procedures.
